Who we are
Punch Monk is a fitness-coaching platform built by coaches and engineers in Bengaluru. We work with independent coaches who run 20 to 100 client rosters, and with individuals who want an AI training partner that actually knows them. We make three products: a web CRM for program and client management, a white-label iOS/Android app for clients to log workouts offline, and punchmonk ai — an AI coach that plans, logs, and adapts your training. Most of our team has spent years training and programming. We use what we build.
Why we exist
Coaching software exists for gyms and studios. It doesn't exist for the solo practitioner — the coach who charges a subscription and ships programs via a spreadsheet or WhatsApp. We know because we were them. We watched coaches solve logistical problems by hand because no software respects their time or craft. We built the Coach CRM to fix that. And we built punchmonk ai because we believe AI can be a training partner with real memory — not a generic chatbot that forgets you between sessions.
Where we work
Our office is in Bengaluru, India. We are distributed, with team across Delhi, Mumbai, and Goa. We think in multiple currencies, timezones, and payment rails. We ship for India and the world at the same time. Being India-based teaches us to respect efficiency and cost discipline that global SaaS forgets.
Who's behind it
Vikram was a strength coach in Delhi for eight years. He programmed for powerlifters, hypertrophy clients, and athletes in recovery. His clients lived across five timezones. He built Punch Monk to solve the coordination problem that spreadsheets couldn't. He believes software should honor the precision coaches demand.
Arjun is an engineer who trained powerlifting for a decade and still competes in strongman. He understands both the logistics side (databases, API design, offline sync) and the coaching side (why coaches care about certain data, what "simple" actually means). He leads our technical decisions and insists that performance matters because coaches work in hard places.
What we promise
Privacy first: We don't sell data. We don't train AI on your coaching data without your consent. We don't analyze your client relationships. Your data is stored in Mumbai, encrypted at rest, and you can export it at any time. If you leave, you take it with you.
No AI training on your data: We use AI to make our software better (code generation, documentation). We do not use your coaching data to build models, train language systems, or improve recommendation engines that we then sell. Your practice is yours.
Simple pricing: One plan. One price. No per-client seats, no hidden tiers, no "call us for enterprise." A coach with thirty clients pays the same as a coach with sixty. You know the cost upfront.
